Sylphhaze Diary

It's a Beautiful Weekend!

Finally have a off day for this week. I'm really really exhausted... Went to see Xiaxue's blog site for the very first time...

Interesting blogger..

Gonna take a nap...

Tired

Tired is the only word I would like describe myself right now.

My Trip to HK 2008.06.06. - 2008 06.10 Part 2

Well... The first time I been to HK Disneyland, I felt it was so magical.. as though I was a little kid running about...

but this time round... it was pouring heavily.. every visitor was wearing raincoat or carrying an umbrella... the rain made the park so inaccessible.. or rather slow down the pace of everyone...

It wasn't that enjoyable.. and Owen didn't even manage to have his picture taken with Mickey mouse...

Moral of the story is.. do not visit HK from June 08 to Sept 08 if u wanna visit Disneyland... U'll run a high risk of being caught in a heavy rain... Nov or Feb will be gd...

My Trip to HK 2008.06.06. - 2008 06.10 Part 1

Well.. the long anticipated trip finally came... this time round in an unusual combo... Me, Joebelle, Owen, Anne, Auntie Nancy and Auntie Janet went together..

The HK disney hotel was a little too normal than expected.. I thought it might be more fanciful than Hollywood hotel but apparently not much difference from the inside.

Just imagine if I can stay in a Winnie The Pooh room with everything Winnie The Pooh inside.. speaking of that, they bought 8 rolls of wall paper from HK... Wall Paper with disney character designs which somehow cannot be commonly found in Singapore.

For now I shall take a break cos I'm really tired now..

Stress Management Talk at Marina Mandarin

It's Friday... And I'm so tired after standing there for a good 3 hours...

There's gonna be another one next week....

-_-

Shall gambatte... Gonna pack out all my luggage stuff now..

Vietnam CPI is 25%... Pessimistic Outlook... and There Goes My LionGlobal Vietnam

Hee... Being in the financial industry, now even my blog also talks abt investment.

Well.. With the pessimistic outlook of Vietnam economic, I can forget abt the LionGlobal Vietnam for the next one year or so.

Current loss is abt 53% and I think it will probably go down even more after the new report.

Alot of people have been asking me what would be good to invest in these days. As a matter of fact, while most of the prices are quite low (with the exception of commodities), can invest in literally everything. Of course there are some areas which you probably have to be cautious right now..

1) Vietnam
2) US
3) Japan
4) China

Vietnam - For an very apparant reason, the market is relatively small and not liquid enough. And the rising CPI isn't helping.. The fact that the government changed their views since 3 months ago was an indication that things aren't gonna be that fantastic after all. Some locals do not seem to be that affected though but investors' confidence are likely to be affected.

US - Just as everyone thought that the credit writedowns were done with, there were a couple of them which surfaced recently. For a while US appeared to have risen a little but overall still seem pessimistic. Hopefully the election will boast the market just like that of Taiwan...

Japan - Self-explanatory

China - I'm kinda sleepy now.. Think I'm gonna sleep now. Good night..

Getting Ready for Work

Went to watch Three Kingdoms on Saturday. I literally fell aslp during the 1st 10 mins. Then I wake up...

Lotsa things that I want to say but I think I'm a little tired..

CJ 7

Well... I watched this movie at GV Plaza on 13.Feb.2008 at 21 h 35. That day marked my second last day of work as a  Human Resource Executive.

I met GM at PS ticketing counter and he presented me his very first stalk  of rose from him to me.  After more  than THREE years and thanks to GV for their promotional combo -_-

Valentine Cupid Combo Promotion

Among the many movies during the festive season, CJ7 is one of the best. The most touching part is when Zhou Xiao Di went home after knowing that his dad had passed away. He refused to accept the fact and was crying on his own.

Watch it soon!

SHIN KUSHIYA @ Vivo City

I'm usually very generous with compliments and complaints when it comes to food. I must say that the dessert is fantastic at Shin Kushiya.

This is what I have ordered. The sesame paste on top is extremely tasty, better than any others that I have ate before. The red bean and green tea ice cream were simply amazing. I will definitely return for it again.

2008.01.12 - Jade's Wedding

DENG dengdengdeng DENG dengdengdeng DENG dengdengdengdengdengdengdengdengdeng.....

Well, if u get it u get it, if u dun den nvm. ^_^ Anyway I attended Jade's Wedding at Harbour City Restaurant. That was my second Wedding dinner in that restaurant. The first one was my cousin's.

Anyway I was down with flu and looked kinda weird. -_- My nose was all red, fortunately it wasn't obvious in the photos. Hardly have any opportunities to take photo with my colleagues. Haiz... Anyway I was the only one from my department.. Luckily found some others whom I can hit off well. ^_^

Well, so what did I discover during the entire evening? EHmm... Woan Shy could really sing! Once she started to sing, everyone applauded!

Well.. Wondering why am I changing my style of cropping pictures? Just trying to be different. Adopting ideas from else where...6_^

My next entry is going to be about FOOD... and the next next one is gonna to be able the movie "CJ 7". I'm trying to work on them soon.
